Yours Truly...

I have not been posting on time the last two days because things have been very hard.
Yesterday, my cat (Princess) was rushed to the hospital. She was so sick that her legs were turning blue. She was hooked up to an iv and hot bottles were placed around her.
Then late in the night my other cat (Melo) started to throw himself into walls. He threw up a milky substance and it seemed like he was choking. I had to rush him to the animal emergency and waited there for two hours to be seen. They said he had a convulsion and kept him over night. Luckily, he is better at the moment.
Today, we got news that Princess had advanced kidney disease and that she was not going to make it. Sadly, we decided to let her pass.

I will try to keep my posting up to date, but emotionally I am drained. These last two months have been a trying time for my family. My two grandfathers passed away and now my cat.
Thank you for listening,
Robyn

My thoughts and prayers are with you. When you lose a family member your pets are often your closest friends. Losing them at a time like this must be so difficult. I'm a mom myself (my doggie is my life) and I dont know what I'd do w/out him. You'll pull through, and a new kitten is what your buddy would have wanted for you. They don't want us to be sad.
I'm so sorry for the loss of your kitty. Pets truly are like family members, only they don't give you shit for stupid things and are always happy to see you. The only horrible part about having them in your lives and the wonderful way they enrich them is the awful price we pay when we have to say goodbye. My thoughts and prayers are with you- it's terrible that you've had to go through this after losing your grandfather too. Just know Princess is in a good place and wants you to be happy.
I'm very sorry for your loss, I know it's hard. God Bless
It's very kind that you all took the time to write such sweet messages.
Princess will be cremated today. I am going to place her urn in my room. She really was a special cat and she deserves a special memorial. She was an angel in disguise. When my parents divorced she let me hug her and she helped my grandfather get through his pain in his last days. She made my grandfather so happy and I believe she stayed strong just for him. The doctors couldn't believe she only got sick 4 days before we took her. She had ADVANCED kidney disease.
My other cat is doing better. We took him home from the vet yesterday. He is being very sucky and wants lots of attention.
Thank you,
Robyn
