Angelina Jolie to Adopt

Angelina Jolie has filed papers to adopt a Vietnamese child, the country's top adoption official said Friday. A U.S. adoption agency representing Jolie filed the papers at Vietnam's International Adoption Agency, said Vu Duc Long, the agency's director.

"She just filed the papers this week," Long said. Long would not name the U.S. adoption agency working with Jolie, who applied to adopt as a single parent.

Nguyen Van Trung, the director of the Tam Binh orphanage, declined to comment. He said he was awaiting the papers from the International Adoption Agency.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are NOT Tying the Knot

Brad Pitt's rep denied late Friday that the actor is planning to wed Angelina Jolie in Johannesburg. "It's all made up," the rep told Us Weekly.

A tabloid reported this week that the couple would wed in South Africa in a simple and elegant ceremony with African music. Guests attending, according to the report, included Oprah Winfrey. "Oprah would not be invited to their wedding. They are not that close," a source close to the couple says.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are Tying the Knot

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are to wed in Africa — to the beat of tribal music.

They plan to tie the knot before Christmas in a South African village near Johannesburg, friends revealed yesterday.

Chum Oprah Winfrey, 52 — who founded a girls’ school there — is said to have been invited. Madonna will also be among star guests.

One pal said: “They are treating their marriage like a spiritual affirmation.”

Pitt, 43, and Jolie, 31, were unavailable for comment.
