Trump: The Apprentice Gets One More Chance!

NBC and executive producer Mark Burnett will bring Donald Trump's reality TV show "The Apprentice" back from the brink of cancellation for at least one more season, according to Reuters. "The Apprentice," which turned Trump into a television star and popularized his catch-phrase "You're fired," was sliding in the ratings and appeared headed for oblivion when it was omitted from the 2007-8 prime-time programming schedule NBC unveiled in mid-May."The Apprentice" debuted in 2004 as a hit show featuring young, aggressive entrepreneurs competing in a weekly game of elimination for a real-life job in Trump's business empire. But the series steadily declined in the ratings in successive years, losing nearly two-thirds of its original audience by the time it wrapped up its sixth installment in April. If the current option on a renewal for a seventh season were to expire without a deal, producers would be free to shop the series to another network, and Trump has said "numerous networks" have expressed an interest in picking up the show.Labels: Donald Trump

Are you qualified to hire and fire people?I'm in that position in my daily life. Plus, I know my father better than anyone else. If you don't work well with (him), you don't stay long. It's as simple as that.
How do you feel about the Rosie feud?
I defend my father when I think he's right – and in this case, I do. But people are obsessed with this story!
Have you been to the tents on The Apprentice?
Yeah, they're bad! Those people must really want to work at the Trump Organization. If you're living in a tent for six weeks, it's not just about getting your face on television.
Do you like working on TV?
I've been offered tons of shows, (including) The Bachelorette.
So, we gotta ask – what's your take on your dad's hair?
Maybe I'm just used to it, but I love his hair! I've heard all sorts of crazy things, but I can verify with complete conviction that it's not a hairpiece. It is what it is! I'm flattered, but that in no way furthers my objective of being a great real estate developer.

Madonna Defends Rosie

While being interviewed on the Today Show Madonna told Meredith Vieira, "People are giving Rosie a hard time. I wish they'd stop. I don't think it's fair." Madge revealed she was on vacation when news of the public feud broke, and quickly emailed Rosie to get the real scoop. "
Madonna believes that since O'Donnell is a standup comic, saying controversial things in monologues is par for the course. "I have a feeling that if every stand-up comic was penalized for saying politically incorrect or provocative things, I think they'd all be hung in the public square."

If you are not tired of Donald's loud mouth and comb over then click the message to read his latest tirade. He sent the message after Barbara Walters called him a "poor pathetic man" today on the View.I particularly like how US Magazine described Donald Trump today:
"He’s the lingering dinner party guest that won’t leave. He’s the little brother you never wanted that always has to get the last word in. He’s the dog you dropped off in the country, only to return home and find him sitting on your door step"

Donald Trump Takes The Time to Write Rosie...
0 Comments Published by Robyn on Tuesday, January 09, 2007 at 1/09/2007 03:06:00 PM.
"Dear Rosie,I hope you had a wonderful vacation with your wife -- you needed the rest.An article in today's New York Post indicates that you blew up at BARBARA WALTERS for being a 'liar.' Actually, I don't blame you, but in fact she lied to both of us!
After your maniacal and foolish rant against me two weeks ago, Barbara called me from her vacation (I did not call her) in order to apologize for your behavior. She had heard that I was going to retaliate against you and tried to talk me out of it. She very much wanted me to go on the show as soon as she got back so that she could 'patch things up' (I said no). To be exact, she said that 'working with her is like living in hell' and, more pointedly, 'Donald, never get into the mud with pigs' and, 'don't worry, she won't be here for long.' Barbara knows exactly what she told me over the phone and she has to live with it.
Perhaps that's why her initial statement was so mild!In another incident, when I saw her eating at Le Cirque about two months ago and asked how 'Rosie was doing,' she sarcastically rolled her eyes and said 'Donald, do you have to ruin my meal.'In any event, you have a good reason to be angry.
Please give my warmest regards to Kelly!Sincerely, Donald J. Trump
P.S.I was surprised that you let your spat with Barbara get into the newspapers, but, as I have always said and as you proved with Rosie, the magazine, you are very self destructive. You must work on this for your own good!"
