Mel Gibson is pissing people off again after telling a Central American Studies professor to "f- off" during a tense press conference.

He was addressing a film class at Cal State University at Northridge last night when the professor questioned the accuracy of his Apocalypto film. Alicia Estrada asked Gibson if he had read about the Mayan culture before shooting the controversial film, suggesting that some of the bloodthirsty, sacrificial scenes in the film were both wrong and racist.

Gibson suddenly exploded in anger, responding, "Lady, f- off." Gibson also became angry when members of the Mayan community protested on how they were portrayed in the film during the lecture. They were escorted out of the room

Mel Gibson doesn't care if some people won't forgive him for his anti-Semitic remarks. The 'Apocalypto' director - who said "Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world" after being stopped by police for drink driving last July - says if people cannot forgive and forget it's not his problem.

He insisted: "I have moved on and some folks won't, and that's not my problem. A lot of people were very understanding and kind. It was a good lesson, and I'm thankful for it. The outcome has been positive out of a lot of negativity."

He said in an interview with Britain's The Times newspaper: "It's very private and personal. My life has been misrepresented and dragged out in a public manner, with everyone being a dime-store analyst. I don't want to help them in that because they have no ides."

Would he shutup already! I don't think he could stick his foot any deeper in his mouth!

Mel Gibson is to be asked to take a DNA test by a woman who says that she is his secret daughter.

Painter Carmel Sloane claims that the Hollywood actor made her mother pregnant 30 years ago, before he found fame in the Mad Max films. Now Carmel, who has a 10-year-old son of her own, wants Gibson to acknowledge his secret family.

"I'm not doing it for his money," Carmel told the News of the World. "I just want to meet the man I've always known was my dad - and for him to get to know his grandson. I'd love it if he recognised us as family. I'm not looking for a meal ticket. I am happy with my life."

She added: "I have grown up being told Mel Gibson is my father. I've been told it for 20 years. I would like some kind of closure either way. I don't want it to go on for another 20 years. We have no choice but to go legal so that we can get to the bottom of this once and for all. A simple DNA test will sort it out."

Mel Gibson is warning the world may well soon end - and he fears civilization as a whole is in decline. Gibson believes the fate of modern-day man could echo that of the Mayan people he depicts in new movie Apocalypto.

He says, "The things that happened right before their downfall are occurring in our society right now. People think that modern man is so enlightened, but we're susceptible to the same forces."
