Mischa Barton says she is single "for the first time" in her life and is fed up with dating "immature" men. The former 'O.C.' star is happy being single and says her next man will be funny and intellectual. She told Elle magazine: "I like an intellectual guy, because I love to read. If they like movies, books and music, we're pretty alright.
"And I'd like someone who's mature. God, I can't take another immature person!"
Barton, 21, previously dated Whitestarr rocker Cisco Adler before the pair split in February after nude pictures of him were found among Paris Hilton's belongings.

Mischa Barton's family are concerned she is heading straight for rehab.The former 'O.C' actress' parents are worried their 21-year-old daughter - who recently collapsed after accidentally mixing antibiotics with alcohol - could follow in the footsteps of some of the troubled stars she has been partying with including Lindsay Lohan, who checked into rehab last week.

This is the classy invitation Nicole Richie sent via e-mail to the Memorial Day party. God! These girls are stupid... Why, don't they throw them all into rehab in with Lindsay and then into jail with Paris!

Mischa Barton Rushed to the Hospital

Mischa Barton was rushed to the hospital this evening after suffering an adverse reaction to medication.

She was at a friend's Memorial Day BBQ enjoying a few holiday cocktails when she began to feel extremely ill. Mischa has been sick with bronchitis since traveling to Cannes, London and Paris the past several weeks. She has been taking meds, but apparently didn't realize that alchool doesn't mix.

Mischa was rushed to an undisclosed medical facility in Los Angeles, where she is "resting comfortably."

A rep for Barton tells she is with family and "feeling much better."

Mischa Barton was caught lighting up a joint on Roberto Cavalli's yacht in Cannes. Poor thing... it must be hard realizing you are falling down the celebrity scale. No movie to promote in Cannes.... no television show. I guess ditching the OC wasn't such a great idea after all!

It was reported earlier last month Mischa Barton dumped Cisco Alder because nude picture of Cisco taken by Paris Hilton surfaced. However, sources insist that is not the real story. Apparently, Cisco Adler dumped Mischa Barton because he was fed up with her mood swings and wild partying.

The pictures were not even an issue a source told, "But Mischa didn't care about the photo. She knew Cisco and Paris once had a relationship. Mischa is crazy about Cisco, she forgave him. Cisco broke up with her. She's just too much of a partier. He tried to get her to tone it down and even talked to her friends about reining her in. But nothing worked - even after her sister went into rehab."

"Cisco hoped Hania's problem would be a wakeup call to Mischa - but it hasn't been. Plus, Mischa's been down since producers killed off her character on "The O.C." and the show was canceled. She's had a lot of time on her hands and has filled it with late-night Hollywood parties. It was finally too much even for Cisco to handle - and now Mischa is devastated."

Mischa's spokesperson confirmed that the two "decided to part ways" and explained that "they both have very demanding schedules."

The source says Cisco told friends: "We're better off apart. She's too crazy for me!"

Mischa Barton and Cisco Adler are finally done and over with. A source tells the pair parted ways after nude photos of Adler, surfaced on the Web.

The pic was of Adler hanging loose, which turned up among Paris Hilton's possessions when the contents of the heiress' unpaid storage locker were posted online.

Says a source, "They had a blowup. She was furious."

Barton's rep had no comment, and Adler's could not be reached.

She beat Lindsay Lohan, former co-star Mischa Barton and Kate Hudson to land on top of magazine In Touch's new Best-Dressed Stars poll.

I bet Lindsay Lohan was really mad that Rachel Bilson beat her! She tries so hard to be fashionable.
