Hi MySpace friends...

Thank you so much for all the congratulatory messages on the arrival of Liam.

Everyone has been so kind and we loved reading all your messages and comments. We are finally out of the hospital and spent our first day at home with little Liam. Its been the most amazing week and experience of my life. We feel so blessed. Liam as many of you know was born Tuesday, March 13th. He weighed 6 pounds 6 ounces and is 19 1/2inches long. And, I might be a biased mommy but he is so beautiful. I just stare at him in amazement. I can't believe I have been given this unbelievable little gift. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. He is my little angel baby and I had no idea you could love someone you've only known for 4 days this much. But, my heart is jumping out of my chest with love. Mommihood ROCKS! Well, Liam needs to be fed so momma must go....love to all of you and especially every mommy out there. I have such a new found respect for you! T xoxo

Tori Spellings mother Candy isn't wasting any time in spoiling her new grandson she spent over $1,700 in top West Hollywood baby store Petit Tresor yesterday to celebrate the new arrival.

The Spellings reconciled in hospital after a bitter estrangement on Tuesday as baby Liam Aaron was born. And Candy showed her double glee during a spending spree.

Among the items the Spelling matriarch bought were a Mia Bossi leather diaper bag, onesies, gowns and airplane booties, according to US news show Access Hollywood.

Tori Spelling Has Given Birth!

Tori Spelling has given birth to her first child. She and her husband decided to name the baby boy Liam Aaron McDermott. The baby's middle name is a tribute to Spelling's late father, legendary TV producer Aaron Spelling, who died in June. He weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces, according to the couple's rep.

To celebrate the upcoming birth of their first child together, Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott welcomed around 50 guests to a coed baby shower on Saturday afternoon at Elixir Tonic & Tea in West Hollywood. "We're so excited to share this special time with our friends," McDermott told. "We can't wait to meet the little man. We feel him kicking all the time and we're so eager to finally see him."

Guests at the event included Spelling's pal Jennie Garth and her costar Loni Anderson. Spelling's mother Candy, with whom she's had a falling out, was not there.

Spelling, looking radiant in a blue mini-dress, happily let her friends rub her belly. "I've loved being pregnant, but I'm ready to give birth," she told with a laugh. "I can't wait to be a mom and hold this little baby in my arms."

The blue-themed party was sponsored by Tupperware and planned by Jo Gartin of Love Luck and Angels. "They wanted the party colors to mimic their baby's turquoise blue and chocolate brown nursery," said Gartin, who decorated the event with white amaryllis in turquoise vases, blue glass lanterns and hundreds of votive candles.

The menu, presented on blue Etch-a-Sketch trays, featured childhood favorites such as grilled cheese sandwiches, tuna melts, miniature corn dogs and pigs in a blanket, as well as an all-blue dessert menu that included blueberry popsicles.

The shower, which was filmed for Spelling's new Oxygen reality show Tori & Dean: Inn Love, ended around 7 p.m. when guests left with an exclusive $600 gift bag produced by The Silver Spoon, including items such as Too Faced Lip Injection, a $250 pearl bracelet from Pearl Paradise and an InphantElefant baby blanket.

Tori Spelling insists her new reality show with husband Dean McDermott will be better than Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson's MTV show Newlyweds' show. Although they are starring in the reality series "Tori & Dean: Inn Love," where they run a real bed and breakfast, she says they won't be copying Simpson and Lachey's infamous antics. Spelling explains, "We think of it as 'Newlyweds' at the next level. We are still newlyweds, but we have a baby on the way and our careers and a new business, so it's kind of like 'Newlyweds, Part Deux.'"

Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott are camera-ready for their new Oxygen series Tori & Dean: Inn Love – despite her advanced state of pregnancy.

"Every night when I walk by my mirror I just stare at my belly and I'm so impressed by it," the former Beverly Hills 90210 and So noTORIous star, 33, told TV critics at their annual conference in Pasadena, Calif., on Wednesday. "You always wonder what you'll look like when you're pregnant and it looks good. I like being pregnant."

Gushed McDermott: "She looks so sexy naked."

While Spelling said she is expecting a boy "in late March," McDermott added, "We haven't decided on a first name, but his middle name will be Aaron," in honor of Spelling's late father, TV mogul Aaron Spelling, who died last June.

While all seems well with the parents-to-be, there doesn't appear to be any thaw in the reputed chilly relationship between Tori and her mother, Candy Spelling. "Unfortunately," says the younger Spelling, "I wish things were different, but they are what they are at the moment."

Everybody Wants a Piece of Tori

Tori Spelling was swamped by fans on Friday, who swarmed her Studio City, California home to buy items from her estate sale. Hordes of fans stared queuing as early as 5:30 a.m. for a chance to look through the star's personal items at her highly-publicized garage sale. A handful of news crews, several print reporters, a news helicopter and Spelling's own reality TV crew all showed up to cover the festivities.

The star, who is five months pregnant told People, "This is a little weird, but I'm okay." Security guards were hired to control the crowd, who were required to sign release forms before they were allowed to enter the site. Items up for sale ranged from a used Sephora lip gloss for $1, her dog Mimi La Ru's shampoo for $20, a used pair of Marc Jacobs designer round-toe shoes for $125 and a pair of white aged Grecian urns for $7,500.

Spelling sent a note to neighbors apologizing for any inconvenience, explaining she obtained the required permits and that it would take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The actress said she wanted to clean house as she enters a new phase in her life adding, "I had to break away from the past and be ready to start anew."

Tori Spelling To Write a Memoir

Besides running a bed & breakfast with husband Dean McDermott for their upcoming Oxygen network series, the pregnant Tori Spelling intends to do something else between the sheets – write a memoir.

Simon & Schuster will publish the book. The collection of recollections will be complied when "the baby is napping," Spelling tells USA Today, and will likely be done with the help of a ghostwriter. Spelling, had yet to inform her family, with whom she's had a tense relationship, about the book. According to the newspaper, she planed to tell brother Randy Spelling, 28, over the weekend. (She described her relationship with him as only "okay")."I certainly hope that (the book) doesn't cause more damage," says Tori.

"Randy's kind of caught in the middle because he has a very close relationship with my mother and a very close relationship with me. He tries to stay neutral, and I admire him for that," she adds. As for mother Candy Spelling, Tori says: "I wish things were different. My mother and I have always had a difficult relationship. There has always been love, and I don't doubt now that there's love."

In an exclusive statement to PEOPLE on Oct. 6, Candy said: "I'm thrilled and ecstatic (about the pregnancy), and if Aaron (Spelling, the family patriarch) were here, I know how thrilled he would also be to share in such a happy occasion." Of reconciling with her mother, Tori tells USA Today: "I do hope for that."

Though Tori has not kept a diary over the years – the anecdotes are "only in my head," she says – she still has "a million stories to tell." Among the topics she plans to cover in the book are plastic surgery ("I basically want to lay it out in my terms"), past relationships ("I want to clear up that I was never in a physically abusive relationship, but verbal abuse is just as detrimental"), and her treatment in her father's last will and testament.
