Friends of Nicole Richie are more worried than ever for her health. A friend said "Her fingers are so bony that she lost one of her favorite rings because it slipped off her finger," and "It was a small diamond ring from Tiffany that her parents gave her on her 16th birthday."

Friends say the stress of her December 11 DUI arrest and upcoming February 7 arraignment has made her lose weight once again. What's more, a pal says, "Nicole feels as if her star is fading. Her CD is on hold and she isn't getting good offers." Since experts say that tension can make eating problems recur, Nicole's friends are trying to be extra supportive. "Too many people love Nicole to give up on her," says one pal.
