Prince has confirmed he'll begin a series of residency dates at Los Angeles party hotspot the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel. The pop superstar was reported to be playing seven Friday night shows, beginning with a showcase last week, but it seems the venue was right, but the rumors were slightly wrong. Prince will play his first show at the hotel's 200-capacity Blossom Room on Saturday, with another four lined up on Sunday and then on June 28-30. Seats for the two-hour shows will be $3,120 each, while standing-room-only tickets will cost $312.10 - matching the title of Prince's latest album, 3121.
