In an interview set to air Thursday on The Morning Show With Mike and Juliet, License to Wed star Mandy Moore dishes — in her signature demure way — on the difference between her and some of her headline-grabbing contemporaries."I'm a pretty modest girl," she explains, when asked what sets her apart from more scandalous young celebs. "That's not really my cup of tea. I feel lucky to get to do this [acting]... I wouldn't want to do anything to jeopardize that."

She looks amazing as usual! I really love the hair and the outfit she is wearing. She makes blogging to easy. I have no nasty or snarly comments to make. Maybe, all the bloggers could start a fund and hire her to give Britney Spears some brains and style.

Mandy Moore proves once again she is the only normal Hollywood girl. She looks amazing without trying! She doesn't whore around in front of the cameras like Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan to be famous. I think she has even gained some weight, unlike the other girls.

Mandy Moore fractured her ankle jumping off a boat for a Self photo shoot, a rep for the actress tells. "It happened at the end of February in Mexico," her rep says. "It was for one of the setups for the spread where she had to jump into the water."

Moore, who has been sporting a walking cast on her right leg for the past few weeks, graces the cover of Self's June issue.

Friends of Mandy Moore have said that she has kicked DJ AM to the curb and is single again, DJ AM used to date Nicole Richie, and after they broke up, told friends he needed to date another high-profile person because his ratings were plummeting.

A rep for Moore said, "We don't comment on her personal life."

Mandy Moore left this message on her myspace blog today. I really like her! Unlike, Britney she sounds like she actually wrote this. It's dumb to compare the two though, cause Mandy is a million times better than Britney. Here is her entry:

I thought I should be the first to inform you that I, mandy moore, hold in my hands a birth certificate.

It reads that I "was present to name, tenderly hold and safely release HANK", my new baby sea turtle son of the golfina species. It's true, hank and I didn't have nearly enough time to bond before I had to gently coax him towards his ocean home but I know in my heart of hearts that he's a fighter. I'm not sure why the name "hank" spoke to me but once I locked eyes with him it was a done deal. He was ridiculously adorable, by the way.

Ok, so we're in mexico for work once again (I'm a lucky, lucky girl) and were informed by the hotel staff that the baby sea turtles had just hatched in the incubators and we were welcome to help release them just after sunset. I mean---who wouldn't jump at that chance?? Basically we all gathered on the beach and everyone was allowed to select a baby and name him (they were all males). After a few photos (which I'll post) we walked to the edge of the surf and set them down and encouraged them to waddle towards the water (trying to erase the idea that statistically 1 or 2 out of 100 babies will end up surviving). Although it's kinda mind boggling to think that these same turtles will return to the exact piece of beach 20 years from now to lay eggs and repeat the cycle!!! All in all, I was honored to be a part of such a special/symbolic act.

In the new issue of Teen Vogue, Mandy Moore opens up about depression, leaves pop music behind, and explains why she doesn't like dating.

On having a quarter-life crisis:
“I’ve been going through this really crazy time in my life – it’s what I imagine people fresh out of college go through. I’m asking myself life-altering questions like, ‘Who am I? Where do I fit in this world? What am I doing, what do I want to do? Am I living to my full potential?”

On her early albums:
“I feel bad that people wasted their money on such trite, blah pop music.”

On being depressed:
“A few months ago, I felt really low, really sad. Depressed for no reason. I’m a very positive person, and I’ve always been glass half-full. So it was like someone flipped a switch in me.”

On breaking up with Zach Braff:
“The breakup added to what I was going through, but it’s not the complete reason. It definitely doesn’t help if you’re already in that place...

On leaving pop music behind:
“I could’ve made a record a year ago with the same people who do everybody’s records. But I’m super-proud that I stuck to my guns. You don’t have to follow the mainstream. I love pop music but it’s not right for me.”

On dating:
“I’ve tried dating a bit, and I don’t like it. I know I should be putting myself out there. But I don’t really think it’s for me. That’s not to say I’m ready to jump back into a relationship any time soon. I’m definitely not looking. But it would be fun to have a crush.”

On why she doesn’t drink:
“I’m a control freak, and I think maybe that’s why. I’m too scared to see what will happen. I’ve been drunk maybe two or three times in my life, although I do like to have a glass of wine before going into the studio, to mellow me out.”

On her image:
“I kind of am a goody-goody. But I’m not judgmental. I’ve done a couple of movies [A Walk to Remember, Saved] where I’ve played Christian characters, so people assume I’m very religious. It’s not a completely correct perception of who I am.”

On the future:
“I’m still figuring it all out, but I want to be extraordinary. I want to live up to my full potential. I’ve always been really shy, very ‘don’t look at me.’ I’ve wanted to hide. But now I don’t want to hide.”

"We're cool," the tennis hunk, told of his relationship with Moore, 22, whom he dated for more than a year before they split in 2004. "We're doing fine now. She's a good girl, and it says a lot about her to come out tonight."
