Ryan Phillippe and Ashlee Simpson are getting cozy. Rumor is they recently met at Les Deux before spending the night at Ashlee's home. A source told, "When Ryan and his friends arrived they were shown to the only table with any space left — where Ashlee and her friends were sitting.

"He couldn't keep his eyes off her in her very figure hugging little black dress. They seemed very into each other. Ashlee was really excited. You could tell she had a huge crush on him." After flirting for hours, onlookers claim the couple disappeared to a private area upstairs, called The Library, at around 2am. The source added: "They were up there for over an hour and came back looking dishevelled. We knew something went on."

"They took separate cars and met at her place. He spent the night! Ashlee is keeping quiet and just said how hot he was. They really hit it off. I think they will hook up again."

Ryan's representative has denied the allegations. He said: "Ryan does not know Ashlee aside from a brief introduction. He went out with his friends and left with his friends."

After rumors flamed up the internet today he would not confirm nor deny that he is dating Spears, but admitted, "I love her, I support her 100% and we are close." Filyaw, who's been attending AA meetings with Spears, also revealed that he is helping Britney with the spiritually "deep" part of her recovery.

The 33-year-old lead guitarist for the rock band RIVA says he met Spears long before she checked into Promises Rehab Center, and that they go "way back" to 2003, when he recorded some music with Britney at The Hit Factory in New York. Filyaw claims they stayed in touch, but "a few weeks ago ... we met up again at a Los Angeles AA meeting."source

Apparently, Tom Brady Gisele started dating just before Christmas," a source has said. Asked about the relationship by a Boston radio show, Brady said he didn't "have much of a response." Bundchen's rep had no comment.

It was first reported that Gisele was seen waiting for Brady outside the Patriots locker room on Jan. 14, after the team's win against the San Diego Chargers. A Chargers rep tells that Bundchen "was in the stands. I'm 100 percent sure. (A Charger employee) saw her walking in concourse area."

She has previously expressed her admiration for the football star: In December, she told the Herald: "Tom Brady, definitely not too shabby. He's pretty cute. All-American, that's a good way to describe him." But she knew he was then with Moynahan, and added, "He's cute, but if he has a girlfriend, he's gay to me. There are too many men in the world to go after a man who has a woman. Life is too short."

Three weeks after spending New Year's Eve together, Jessica Simpson and John Mayer made another "couple" appearance, this time in Miami. On Monday, the pair worked out together at their hotel's Sports Club/LA gym, taking a yoga class and then lifting weights a deux, sources said.

That evening, they arrived hand-in-hand at The Shore Club's Nobu restaurant, where they sat and talked for more than two hours over sushi and bottled water. Simpson and Mayer longtime friends who've been linked off and on since the summer, chatted easily, and at a few points she leaned forward and he reached across the table to hold both her hands.

"They looked really cute together," says one witness at Nobu. "They were talking and laughing the whole time. She was constantly fixing herself to make sure she looked her best for him."

When the check came, she reached for her bag and he reached for his wallet. She, however, pulled out a lipstick while he grabbed the bill. After the meal, she took a trip to the ladies room, and when she came out, wrapped her arms around the much-taller Mayer and stood on her tiptoes for a kiss on the nose. source

Jessica Simpson and John Mayer are looking closer than ever after spending a whirlwind weekend in New York City. The pair have dodged rumors of an off-and-on relationship for months, and they set tongues wagging again on New Year's Eve when they arrived together in the Hudson Hotel's VIP room just after 2:10 a.m.

The singers, who were out with a group of pals, according to a friend of Mayer's, held court for about 40 minutes in a sofa nook across the room from Christina Aguilera's entourage, which included her husband Jordan Bratman. Simpson and Mayer later left together and hit Stereo nightclub for some more celebrating.

"It was a happy and fun New Year's," Mayer's pal tells. The two made it a weekend of hanging out together. They were spotted having dinner at the Mercer Kitchen on Friday, walking around Barneys New York on Saturday and then eating at the Mexican restaurant Dos Caminos in SoHo, where "they were very flirty, obviously so engaged with each other," an eyewitness tells.

Later Saturday night, Simpson and Mayer dropped by the nearby Comedy Cellar, where earlier in the week Mayer had performed a stand-up routine. "They were friendly," the Comedy Cellar's manager, Estee Adorim, tells "They were talking to everybody."

She flirted with the multimillionaire QB during a night of partying at a Scottsdale nightspot, the Jackrabbit Supper Club. "They were flirting hardcore on the patio area all night long… bumping and grinding and whispering in each other’s ears," a source says.

Britney, who usually likes to travel with a huge entourage kept it low-key, with two girlfriends and a big burly bodyguard at the Jackrabbit Supper Club when she bumped into hunky Matt. "Her attention was focused on Matt all night long," the source adds. "She really let loose!"
