Micheal Jackson has blasted claims he was too busy to appear at the Black Entertainment Television (B.E.T) awards, branding the allegations "false and defamatory".The singer was asked to appear at the B.E.T ceremony in Los Angeles on 26 June to perform a special Thriller album tribute and to present his mentor Diana Ross with a Lifetime Achievement Award - but American news agencies claimed Jackson was "too incapacitated to appear."
Jackson's spokeswoman Raymone K. Bain says the information "being disseminated in the media with regards to Mr. Jackson's invitation is false. We cannot understand why anyone affiliated with the program would deliberately misrepresent the facts or attempt to defame Mr. Jackson.

Michael Jackson’s siblings — including Janet — and his parents are so worried about the failing pop star that they’ve sent out an emergency 911 call. Sources tell me that the Jacksons are in the process of contacting Thomas Mesereau, the superstar criminal lawyer who won Jackson an acquittal two years ago in his child molestation trial. The word from the Jacksons is that they’ve met several times as a family and discussed bringing Mesereau in for an intervention to save Michael. Mesereau, who did not return calls to this column, is said to be open to finding out what Jackson’s true mental and health status is at this point. If he doesn’t like what he sees, the Jacksons will ask him to do something legal to save their brother’s life.

Michael's Stolen "Fortune"

Michael Jackson claims acquaintances tried to steal his fortune during his 2005 child molestation trial. The pop star, who admits he was close to financial ruin when disloyal advisors attempted to take advantage of him, has singled out his older brother Randy's close friend as one of the main culprits.Jackson, who was found not guilty on 10 accounts of child abuse, says he was only saved after Reverend Jesse Jackson and billionaire Ron Burkle advised him.Jackson's revelations appear in a sworn deposition he gave last July for a federal lawsuit, set to go to trial this week.He alleges Don Stabler, Randy's close associate, attempted to get him to sign a deal that would see him lose a large part of his fortune. However, Jackson refused after Burkle warned him not to.In one transcript, obtained by the New York Daily News newspaper, Jackson recalled: "I vehemently told them, 'No, I am not signing this.'""And I just remember how angry, the intensity of the anger in the room. And so they marched out."Jackson, whose career has been in freefall since the court case, said his experience has left him wary of the entertainment industry. He said: "It's full of sharks, charlatans and impostors. Because there's a lot of money involved, there's a bunch of schmucks in there."Source

Michael Jackson is suing his former accountants, accusing them of making unauthorized business deals and charging him millions of dollars.Jackson and his production company filed the lawsuit against Bernstein, Fox, Whitman, Goldman and Sloan yesterday at Los Angeles Superior Court. They claim the firm didn't keep Jackson informed of his financial affairs and committed negligence and breach of fiduciary duty. They are calling for unspecified damages and a thorough audit of money paid to the company for services provided.
Earlier in 2006, Jackson's spokeswoman Raymone Bain revealed she suspected Jackson was being defrauded by business associates and advisers. She said in August, "Mr Jackson is neither shocked nor surprised by these revelations. He has long been suspicious that some of those whom he entrusted to act on his behalf, and to advise him with respect to his personal and business affairs, may not have always acted in his best interest."
