Madonna Buys Another House

Madonna has spent more than £6 million buying her sixth London property. Her and husband Guy Ritchie signed a contract on the 10-bedroom Georgian townhouse in London's Marylebone. It adjoins the eight-bedroom property the couple live in with children Lourdes, 10, and Rocco, six.

The house has six floors and includes a vaulted artist's studio which adjoins the garden wall of the family's main home. The house has oak floorboards and many original features. It is not known whether the family intend to connect their acquisition to their existing home or rent it out.

They also own two nearby mews houses, which are occupied by staff, and two other houses in central London. A source said: "Madonna has been a very shrewd investor in property - this is her fourth in the area. She knows the prices are significantly lower than in Mayfair but that the area is coming up. She has said she'd like to buy the whole street.

"She was really keen to get her hands on this house because she knows once Paul Davies starts developing properties an area can skyrocket in price. She was calling him for eight months and her initial offers were rejected, but after a series of meetings he agreed to sell."

Victoria and David Beckham Put an Offer on a House

Victoria and David Beckham have put an offer on a Bel Air mansion that once belonged to Meg Ryan. The house includes seven-bedrooms and six-bathrooms. As well as multiple living quarters, the house boasts ocean views, a games room, private gym and sauna, swimming pool and massive back garden.

Bel Air estate agent Joel Cunningham, who reportedly showed the stick-thin star round the property, said: "Mrs Beckham was very impressed with the property overall, especially the ocean views which can be enjoyed from the bedroom.

"She also was impressed by the close proximity to the local amenities and schools. She was absolutely smitten with the architecture and garden, which is nearly 100 years old and has flowing vines and willow trees. She loved the deck area in the garden too, as it offers a great space for a family to gather and eat breakfast or lunch during the warmer months of the year. And the garden has lots of space for the children to run around in."

He added: "In addition to the large 8ft high security fence surrounding the property, there's also a front wall and gates that are even higher than the massive fence, at a massive 11ft."

Britney Spears Buys A New House!

Britney Spears has bought a new home. Her new home is a lot closer to the see-and-be-seen nightclubs where she's been partying ever since she split. She haas bought a Mediterranean villa near Mulholland Drive in Beverly Hills listed at a whopping $7.2 million. The six bedroom, six-and-a-half bathroom home is 7,400 square feet and is located in a gated community on Summit Circle, just off Coldwater Canyon. The house's amenities include a deluxe swimming pool, hot tub, a balcony and a fireplace in the master bedroom a state-of-the-art kitchen, media room and maid's quarters.

"Britney looked at it on Thursday, Dec. 7," a source tells. "She brought like seven or eight people. They were her bodyguards and a few male dancer friends. She stayed for five hours and said she wanted the house immediately.

She then got ready in one of the bedrooms at the house for her night out on the town. She took forever to do her hair and makeup. It was such a scene! She came off as very high maintenance. Nice, but demanding. It was obvious she was used to getting what she wanted."

"She asked the sellers to get out right away," says the source. "So they moved to a hotel on December 12." The sellers managed to get all their belongings out in that short five day period, but left the furniture behind because Britney wanted to keep it, the source adds. "Britney liked the house just as it was," says the source. "She didn't want to have to wait for new furniture to be brought in."
